Established in 1998 at the National University of Kiev-Mohyla Academy (Ukraine). It promotes an integrated system of research, training, information and documentation in the field of human rights, peace and democracy. The Chair also initiates research and help elaborate a curriculum concerning issues of human rights, peace, democracy, tolerance and international understanding for use in the programmes of the National University of Kiev-Mohyla Academy and as a contribution to launching a nationwide system of continuing education for human rights, peace, democracy, tolerance and international understanding.

Established in 2010 at the National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy”. Its objective is to conduct research and training in the fields of international protection of human rights and participation in the informational and analytical support of legislative and law enforcement activities in Ukraine.
Mainstream activities of the Center:
The Center participates in national and international conferences of Harriman Institute, Columbia University (New York), University of Giessen (Giessen, Germany), in scientific seminars and summer schools.

Established in 2011 at the National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy”. The Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence’s outputs include the introduction of new interdisciplinary teaching activities in EU studies at undergraduate, master, postgraduate and doctoral levels in Ukrainian and English. Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence serves as an academic and educational centre and resource hub in European Studies in Ukraine and promotes teaching and research in various fields of European Studies at Ukrainian universities. The Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence’s objective is to provide high quality interdisciplinary teaching and research in area of EU Studies in Ukraine.
