EIUC: Master in Democratic Governance in the MENA region (DE.MA)

The European Inter-University Center for Human Rights and Democratisation has opened the application procedure for the Master in Democratic Governance in the MENA region.

The Master has come to its second edition, thanks to the contribution of the European Union and the Danish Institute for the Human Rights. The aim is to provide a highly focused and action-oriented training in the field of human rights. Courses will be taught by high level academics, experts and practitioners from different area studies.

The Master is the result of a partnership between EIUC and many other universities, among which the International University of Rabat (Rabat, Morocco), the University of Birzeit (Birzeit, Palestine), the Saint Joseph University (Beirut, Lebanon) and the Ca’ Foscari University (Venice, Italy). Students will spend their first semester in Venice and the second in one of the partner universities.

This Master will develop a wide range of competences and knowledge from various field, combining them with practical activities, in order to train higly-skilled personnell for national and international organizations in the filed of human rights protection and promotion.

The deadline for submitting the application is November 16th 2016.
