University of Vienna, Training course on “Empower human rights!”, Vienna, 10-12 September 2012

The Doctoral College “Empowerment through Human Rights” of the University of Vienna, in the mainstream of the AHRI/COST conference (AHRI-Association of Human Rights Institutes; COST - European Cooperation in Science and Technology), organises, from 10 to 12 September 2012, a training course titled “Empower human rights!”. The course, addressed to PhD candidates, provides for the presentation, made by participants, of their research project on different topics: development and human rights, migrantion and human rights, trafficking of human beings, criminal and social justice.

The Association of Human Rights Institutes - AHRI, consists of 41 member institutions that carry out research and education in the field of human rights. COST - European Cooperation in Science and Technology is one of the longest-running European frameworks supporting cooperation among scientists and researchers across Europe. Established in 1971, COST is the oldest European system of networking in the field of research and currently counts of 35 member countries.
