When Science Trumps Law: seminar with prof. Alan McHughen. Padova, Human Rights Centre, Friday 14 October

In the framework of the academic activities for the a.y 2016/2017 connected to the Joint Ph.D. Degree Programme “Human Rights, Society and Multi-level Governance”, the Human Rights Centre of the University of Padova will host a seminar with prof. Alan McHugen on the topic “When Science Trumps Law”. The Seminar will take place on Friday 14 October, at 10:30 at the Library of the Human Rights Centre.

Prof. McHughen is Biotechnology Specialist and Geneticist at the University of California, Riverside and a long-standing expert on food and right to health policies. His publication include "Pandora's Picnic Basket; The Potential and Hazards of Genetically Modified Foods".
