CCHRD: published the new issue of the Czech Republic Human Rights Review, 2013

The first 2013 review of the Czech Center for Human Rights and Democratization (CCHRD) is available online.
The Review analyses and brings out news on human rights developments in Czech Republic, and especially includes interviews with two very interesting personalities, among which, the former UN Special Rapporteur on Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment, Professor Manfred Nowak.

The Czech Centre for Human Rights and Democratisation was established in 2009 as so far the only Czech academic center focusing on human rights from the legal and social aspect. In 2012 it  became the 43rd member of the global network of human rights centers, Association of Human Rights Institutes (AHRI). The objective of AHRI is to promote research, education and discussion in the field of human rights.

The Human Rights Centre of the University of Padua is also a member of this network cooperating in various projects proposed by AHRI and participating at Annual Conferences.
