The University of Padova Human Rights Centre has opened applications for the “Microfinance in Action” Winter School for A.Y. 2018/2019. The Winter School is organised in collaboration with Apex College (Kathmandu, Nepal) and there are eight places available.
The provisional programme is expected to last from 23th September 2019 (departure from Padova) to 7th October 2019 (return from Kathmandu). The Winter School awards six credits from the host institution, according to the rules set by each Study course council.
The Centre allocates a contribution of up to 900 euros for documented expenses of journey, meals and accommodation. Extra costs are at students’ charge.
The deadline for application is May 9 2019. Applications will be considered from students enrolled in the A.Y. 2018/2019 in a Master’s Course of the School of Economics and Political Science of the University of Padova:
A) Seven places will be reserved for students of the Master’s course in Human Rights and Multi-level Governance
B) One place will be reserved for a student from one of the other Master’s courses pertinent to the School of Economics and Political Science of the University of Padova.
The applicants for the exchange places will have to fill the annexed form and submit it via email to centro.dirittiumani@unipd.it together with their CV and transcript of records (any exams that has been passed but not registered can be added in the transcript, that must be signed by the student).
A Commission, appointed by the Director of the University of Padova Human Rights Centre “Antonio Papisca”, will examine the applications.
The lists of preselected candidate will be published on this page on May 20, 2019.
Preselected candidates will have an interview to produce a final performance ranking.
The interview for preselected students will take place on May 29 from 9.00 at Auletta Ca' Borin Sud, via del Santo 22.
The final performance ranking will be published on this page on May 30, 2019.
The selected students will be called to accept the place and to deposit a down-payment of 50 euros to confirm their place.
