On Sunday, 12 October 2025, the PerugiAssisi Peace and Fraternity March will be held, promoted by the PerugiAssisi Foundation for the Culture of Peace, in collaboration with the National Coordination of Local Authorities for Peace and Human Rights and the National Network of Schools for Peace.
The theme around which the march will be built “Imagine all the people” is an invitation to imagine a cohesive, just and inclusive society in which people can live together in peace, and in which the individualism, violence and growing militarisation that characterise today's society have no longer a place.
The University of Padua, which has always been present at the Perugia-Assisi March, is participating again this year.
The University Human Rights Centre ‘Antonio Papisca’ is organising two free buses for students, civil service volunteers, teaching and technical-administrative staff of the University.
The departure is scheduled for the morning of Saturday 11 October, in order to participate in the afternoon at the closing event of the UN Assembly of Peoples in Perugia.
The group will spend the night in a gym provided by the organisers, ready to start the march on Sunday 12 October from the Giardini del Frontone at 9 a.m. The entire route of the march is approximately 24 kilometres, and the arrival at the Rocca Maggiore in Assisi will be around 3 p.m. The return to Padua is scheduled for 11 p.m.
To reserve your place, please fill in the registration form at the following link by 25 September 2025: https://forms.gle/496A8Xm2Zqwispuf8
