UNICEF: Presentation of the State of the World Children’s Report 2013, Human Rights Centre, 30 May 2013

Thursday 30 May 2013 at noon UNICEF Veneto will present, at the Human Rights Centre of the University of Padua, the State of the World Children’s Report 2013 – Children and Disabilities.

Through this report, UNICEF aims to draw attention to the ever urgent and necessary international debate about the rights of the persons with disabilities, in particular children and adolescents. This report analyses the different contexts, in a global perspective, that could affect child condition, including conflicts and emergencies. The necessity of implementing approaches based on equality and inclusion, in the fields of early childhood development, education, health, nutrition and humanitarian response and protection, is recognized as an essential element.
