It was particularly important edition, since 2009 stands at the crossroads of several important anniversaries: the 50th Anniversary of the Declaration of the Rights of the Child, the 20th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the 10th anniversary of the Regional Law No. 55/1999 “Regional Interventions for the Promotion of Human Rights, the Culture of Peace, the Cooperation to Development and Solidarity”

At the conclusion of the first day there was the ceremony for the 2009 Award "Veneto for peace and solidarity among peoples", awarded to the South Cimic Group of Motta di Livenza.
The second day was organized in collaboration with UNICEF, and was entirely devoted to human rights with the participation of the testimonial Zlata Filipovic, a young Bosnian writer of the Network of young people affected by war.
