The Human Rights Centre welcomes Ambassador Cesare Maria Ragaglini, Permanent Representative of Italy to the United Nations in New York

The Human Rights Centre of the University of Padua received on Tuesday, 18 December 2012, a pleasant visit from the Ambassador Cesare Maria Ragaglini, Permanent Representative of Italy to the United Nations in New York, accompanied by the Deputy Permanent Representative and Head of the Region of Veneto Office in Brussels, Stefano Beltrame, together with the Mayor of Villanova di Camposampiero, Silvia Fattore.

The Ambassador held talks with the Centre’s staff in a cordial exchange of information and ideas about the state of art of human rights in the world and in Italy and donated to the Human Rights Centre’s library the volume edited by the Permanent Mission the United Nations "Italy at the United Nations. A Legacy of Commitment". In his turn, the Director of the Human Rights Centre, Marco Mascia, gave the Ambassador a copy of the "Italian Yearbook of Human Rights 2012", a publication edited by the Centre.
