Founded in 2004, the Conflict Resolution Institute is committed to the pillars of education, research, and community involvement in addressing conflict resolution. The Institute links scholar-practitioner relations, teaches conflict resolution theory and skills, promotes cross-learning connection of ideas, develops conflict resolution concepts and methods, promotes justice and fairness, nurtures reflective conflict resolution practice, and integrates students and graduates into the community.

Founded in 1988, the Conflict Information Consortium is an interdisciplinary research center with a special emphasis on intractable conflicts. The Consortium vanguarded the use of advancing information technologies to empower citizens with the information they need to face daily conflicts. The Consortium believes that mobilizing the skills of the general population is critical to resolving societal conflicts and challenges.
