Additional information contains the synthesis of a survey conducted at national level in Austria, Poland and Italy to monitor educational materials on trafficking in human beings especially for the purpose of sexual exploitation, that are addressed to high school students. These materials are produced and available for use in the school system of the above mentioned three Countries. Survey results confirmed the usefulness of this Daphne Project materials for high school teachers and students. Additional information strives to provide teachers with some tools to deepen their knowledge and awareness as well as to get updated information on the issue of trafficking in human beings for the purpose of sexual exploitation.
In the first part Additional information provides some examples, when available, of educational activities dealing with trafficking in human beings carried out by social actors, such as local institutions, NGOs, research centres, etc.,. The selection does not intend to be exhaustive, but only to orient interested people in finding the most appropriate resources.
A second part provides links to web resources on the trafficking in human beings and victims’ human rights. The list, according to the situation of Countries, includes web-sites of both local and national institutions, as well as NGOs that are active on prevention, assistance, training, awareness-raising, and reintegration. The online pages provide updated information on programs and activities carried out by all stakeholders. In the third part, an essential bibliography ends each national part.
