Seminar: Current trends and challenges in the work of the CRC: states' reporting, civil society inputs and communications

In the 30th Anniversary of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, the Human Rights Centre “Antonio Papisca”, the Department of Political Science, Law and International Studies, the Unesco Chair in "Human Rights, Democracy and Peace" and the Save the Children Chair "Children's Rights" at the University of Padova organized a seminar on the theme "Current trends and challenges in the work of the CRC: states' reporting, civil society inputs and communications".
The seminar will be given by Professor Ann Skelton, UNESCO Chair in Education Law in Africa, University of Pretoria and current member of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child; Professor Skelton has worked as a children’s rights lawyer in South Africa for 25 years. Prof. Skelton is currently the Director of the Centre for Child Law at the University of Pretoria.
Prof. Paolo De Stefani, Academic Coordinator of the MA in Human Rights and Multi-level Governance, and Arianna Saulini, Save the Children Chair on Children's Rights, will introduce the seminar.
