Call for the Universal Civil Service 2021

The University of Padua has announced a call for application of the Universal Civil Service (Servizio Civile Universale) 2021.

The Universal Civil Service is an opportunity for young people (aged 18 to 28) to dedicate a year to a solidarity commitment towards others, in order to contribute to the non-violent defence of the homeland and the social, cultural and economic development of Italy.

Since 2002 the University of Padua has launched over 110 civil service projects, having involved about 1000 volunteers. The University of Padua proposes a wide range of the Universal Civil Service projects in various fields, including culture, education, environment and assistance. The projects are aimed at preserving cultural and historical heritage, management of libraries, environmental protection and animal care, social and psychological assistance, computer and peace education.
