In the heart of the Palestro neighbourhood in Padua, the People's Clinic (Ambulatorio Popolare) has opened its doors to offer free health services to those most in need. Thanks to the success of a fundraising campaign, promoted by a network of local associations and activists, the services are now available, and the space has become a point of reference for the people living in the neighbourhood.

The clinic is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with varying hours to accommodate both morning and afternoon needs. Currently, the clinic offers consultations, psychological support and counselling, assistance with reading medical reports, and guidance on the health services available in the area.

The Palestro neighbourhood, known for its social and cultural vibrancy, has long faced difficulties in accessing health services. This initiative represents a concrete step toward addressing these gaps, strengthening the community fabric and promoting an inclusive and supportive healthcare model.
