As part of the FUTURE(s) Club initiative organized by students of the Human Rights, Society and Multi-level Governance PhD Programme at the , the movie “Earth Protectors” will be screened on Thursday, 8 July 2026 at 16:45. The movie will be screened in the original language with English subtitles.

The initiative creates a shared academic space where members of the University community can watch films together and reflect collectively on major issues shaping our societies, our memories, and our possible futures. Through cinema, dialogue, and facilitated discussion, FUTURE(s) Club invites participants to engage with questions related to human rights, climate change, social justice, psychology, conflict, democracy, environmental protection, collective memory, and the responsibilities we hold toward one another and the planet.

“Earth Protectors”

Synopsis 

Environmental artist Anne de Carbuccia travels the world to document the devastating impact of humanity on the planet. From plastic oceans to species extinction, her work captures the harsh reality of the Anthropocene and calls for systemic change, before it's too late.
