Seminar series with PhD graduates and candidates on research methods anche challenges for master's students, Human Rights Centre, March-April 2026
In March and April 2026, the Human Rights Centre hosts a short series of thematic seminars by PhD graduates and candidates, particularly recommended for master’s students working on planning or drafting their thesis.
The programme includes seminars by Anh Nguyen (Thursday 26 March, 15:30-16:30) on Policy as data: Using content analysis to study platform governance; Lamia Yasin (Thursday 16 April, 15:30-16:30) on How to use transformative qualitative approach in human rights research; Ludovica Aricò (Thursday 23 April, 15:30-16:30), on International child labour regulations: Using history to understand contemporary challenges; Sara Lina Kamoun (Thursday 30 April, 15:30-16:30), on Designing interdisciplinary research in conflict and governance.
The series is jointly realised by the Human Rights Centre of the University of Padova and the Global Campus of Human Rights, the European master’s programme in Human Rights and Democratisation, and is open to HRG and EMA students as well as to the Eureopean master's students who spend their second semester at the University of Padova. There are no fees.
