SET Webinar "Responsibility to Protect: Just and Idea or a Tool for the Future?"

The Student Engagement Team organises an event that will be held via Zoom, in English, on November 20, 2025, at 3:00PM GMT+1. This webinar, hosted by Sarah Hunter, Senior Researcher and Advocacy Officer at the Global Centre for the Responsibility to Protect,  will dive into the concept of “Responsibility to protect” (R2P), as a global commitment to prevent war crimes and crimes against humanity. The event aims to give an answer to the question “Are states upholding this commitment?”.

The Student Engagement Team (SET) is a social promotion association created by a small group of second year master’s degree students from the Human Rights and Multilevel Governance program at the University of Padova in 2020.

The SET’s five-year objective is to give concrete life to the EU Youth Strategy for 2019-2027 through the development of innovative initiatives focusing on human rights education in Europe.

Registration is required to follow the webinar.
