UN-Environment is the principal authority that sets the global environmental agenda and promotes the coherent implementation of the environmental dimension of sustainable development within the United Nations system. Its mission is to coordinate and foster a global partnership to develop projects and activities that protect the environment so that nations and peoples can improve their quality of life without compromising that of future generations.
