April 25 to May 1: 2nd Civic Week
From April 25 to May 1, 2022, the second "Civic Week" will take place, an original initiative dedicated to the enhancement and promotion of civic education called for by Parliament in 2019 to "train responsible and active citizens and promote their full and conscious participation in the civic, cultural and social life of communities."
In the European Year of Youth, Civic Week is dedicated to David Sassoli, President of the European Parliament and exemplary citizen and is promoted by the National Network of Schools for Peace, the National Coordination of Local Authorities for Peace and Human Rights, the "Attilio Bertolucci" High School of Parma, the School of Higher Education "Educating for Encounter and Solidarity" of LUMSA in Rome, the Human Rights Center "Antonio Papisca" and the UNESCO Chair "Human Rights, Democracy and Peace" of the University of Padova and the Peace Table. In collaboration with the Network of Universities for Peace promoted by the Conference of Rectors of Italian Universities.

Monday, April 25, 2022 - Liberation Day, Participation of schools in events promoted by Local Authorities.
Tuesday, April 26, 2022 - Hundreds of activities organized by schools of all levels and Local Authorities will take place throughout the day.
Wednesday, April 27, 2022 - Great Assembly of Civic Education "Youth for a Europe of Peace - Let's Re-imagine the Future of Europe Together." The Assembly will take place from 10 a.m. to noon in Perugia, at Sala dei Notari, via Zoom and YouTube.
Thursday, April 28, 2022 - Hundreds of activities organized by schools of all levels and Local Authorities will take place throughout the day.
Friday, April 29, 2022 - National Day of Caring "I Care." In the morning, from 10 a.m. to noon (via Zoom and YouTube), the Great Assembly of schools engaged in care education will take place.
Saturday, April 30, 2022 - Hundreds of activities organized by preschools, primary and secondary schools, and local governments will take place throughout the day.
Sunday, May 1, 2022 - Labor and Workers' Day.
