Kairos Palestine is the largest Palestinian Christian nonviolent movement. It is based on the document Kairos Palestine: A Moment of Truth launched in 2009, when many Palestinians felt they had reached a dead end. It was written by a group of lay people, church leaders from various denominations, and Christians who for the first time spoke with one voice about the Palestinian struggle.
The document affirms that Palestinian Christians are an integral part of the Palestinian nation, supports the end of Israeli occupation, and calls for a just peace. The documents have also been translated into 22 languages and are available in Italian. Although it has received criticism from some churches, the document has been a source of revelation for many people engaged in the nonviolent struggle for Palestinian rights and has influenced the birth of the international movement called the Global Kairos for Justice.

Author of numerous books and articles focused on the Palestinian context. He earned a PhD from the Oxford Centre for Mission Studies.
