8th March 2022 - International Women’s Day

In light of the 8th March, the day designated by the United Nations as International Women’s Day, several events have been organised by the Comune di Padova (municipality of Padua) to raise awareness and share information in the community.

The UN and UN Women have decided the theme for this year is “Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow” since one of the biggest challenges of the 21st century is promoting gender equality in the context of climate emergency and disaster risk reduction.
