Sustainable Development Festival 2021
From September 28, to October 14 2021, the University of Padua will participate in the fifth edition of the Sustainable Development Festival, which is promoted by The Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development (ASviS), in collaboration with The Italian University Network for Sustainable Development (RUS). As such, the University continues its commitment to promote and spread the topics of the UN 2030 Agenda between the university community and the local region.
Again this year, the University's goal is to bring together the university community in constructing a program of events to be integrated along with the proposals of the Municipality of Padua.
The events will be held in presence or virtually, so as to respect the current regulations in the matter of Covid-19.
The festival is set within the context of the "Sustainable UniPadova" project, created and promoted by the university as a container and catalyst for initiatives aimed at sustainability and inclusion, involving the entire academic community, from students and staff to government bodies.

The Sustainable Development Festival (Festival dello Sviluppo Sostenibile) is a national awareness-raising campaign launched by the Alliance every year to promote and spread a culture of sustainability among the Italian society. ASviS organizes the Festival together with its members and with the support of its partners, over the course of 17 days, as many as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) envisaged by the 2030 Agenda. The initiative constitutes a single large-scale, inclusive and widespread event.
