An alternative to war, terror and dying in silence. A peace proposal born from Syrian refugees in Lebanon
On Wednesday, 15 July 2020 at 17:30, it will be held an online seminar dedicated to the war in Syria and to the peace proposal, prepared by Syrian refugees in Lebanon.
After almost 10 years of the war in Syria, there are still fightings, tortures, massacres and millions of refugees outside the country, many of whom living in inhuman conditions. Few have managed to reach Europe, while most of them have not yet found a safe haven. The situation of the Syrian refugees in Lebanon is emblematic, which we will deepen during the seminar.
The seminar is organized by the Human Rights Center "Antonio Papisca", the UNESCO Chair “Human Rights, Democracy and Peace” of the University of Padua, the Pope John XXIII Community and the Operazione Colomba Nonviolent Peace Corps.
Language of the seminar: Italian
