Association of Human Rights Institutes (AHRI) Conference on "Human Rights in a Polarized World - Realizing Human Rights in the Green and Just Transition", Lund University, 12-14 September 2024

The Association of Human Rights Institutes (AHRI) is set to hold its annual Conference on 12-14 September 2024. AHRI is a network of over 80 (and growing) member institutes that carries out research and educational activities in the field of human rights. The member institutes are from over 30 different countries spanning all continents.

This year's theme is "Human Rights in a Polarized World - Realizing Human Rights in the Green and Just Transition" and the Conference will be hosted by Raoul Wallenberg Institute for Human Rights and Humanitarian law at Lund University, Sweden (participation in person and via Zoom). On Friday 13 September, 12.30h-14.00h (CET) the annual AHRI General Assembly will take place.

AHRI’s objective is to bring together human rights researchers from across the disciplines, to facilitate the exchange of ideas and collaboration, and to promote research, education and discussion in the field of human rights. AHRI 2024 General Assembly agenda is expected to address financial statements, admission of new members, election of Executive Committee members and more. The registration is open until 01/09.
