EIUC: Venice School of Human Rights. Venice, 28 June – 7 July 2012
The third edition of the Venice School of Human Rights will run from Thursday 28 June to Saturday 7 July 2012 at the Monastery of San Nicolò, in the Lido of Venice. The School offers ten intensive days among professors, participants and guest speakers who will debate on key contemporary challenges to the protection of human rights and dignity, while exchanging different experiences and enhancing an intercultural dialogue.
The programme is taught by an internationally recognised faculty combining both academic and practical experience. This year the course offers a specific focus on the following three topics:
- Business and Human Rights
- Development and Human Rights
- Transitional Justice and Fight Against Impunity
The programme is run by the European Inter-University Centre for Human Rights and Democratisation (EIUC) and is tailored around postgraduate students from all academic backgrounds.
