Generation Equality Forum: Paris 2021

Generation Equality Forum Paris 2021

The Generation Equality Forum is a global event aimed at advancing actions and investments for gender equality, and it will be held from 30 June to 2 July 2021 in Paris; many institutional and civil society actors will take part, as well as the private sector and youth organizations.

The Forum will launch the Global Acceleration Plan for Gender Equality, fostering concrete commitments and intergenerational partnerships, to advance gender equality over the next five years.

The Forum will be an answer to the fact that the COVID-19 crisis has exacerbated gender inequalities, and as the world begins to rebuild, there is the need to put gender equality at the heart of recovery efforts. Twenty-six years after the Fourth World Conference on Women in Beijing, the Generation Equality Forum will be the largest global feminist gathering since 1995 and a global turning point to advance women's rights.

The Forum will take place online and the closing date for registration is 27 June. For more information please visit the websites linked below.
