Peace Festival in Memory of Antonio Papisca, Pellegrino Parmense, Sunday 17 May 2026

In memory of Professor Antonio Papisca, the Municipality of Pellegrino Parmense, his hometown, is organising the 2026 Peace Festival.

This event, which for several years has been bringing together people, families and the local community in the spirit of peace, sharing and togetherness, returns on Sunday 17 May with a walk through the hills of Parma.

The meeting point is set for 10:00 am in Pellegrino Parmense: from there, participants will walk together to the hilltop hamlet of Mariano, sharing words, encounters and smiles, to honour the memory of Antonio Papisca and renew our commitment to giving our best every day, for a more just and peaceful world.

Upon arriving in Mariano, the day will come to a close with a relaxed outdoor gathering: attendees are welcome to bring a packed lunch for a picnic or enjoy the food truck available on site.
