Seminar on Rights and citizenship, the Ombudsman's action

The Italian national Ombudsman coordination, together with the Office of the Regional Ombudsman of Emilia Romagna and with the Italian Ombudsman Institute, organises an international workshop on Rights and citizenship, the Ombudsman action.

The initiative will take place on the 2nd December 2011 in Bologna, Italy, at the Sala Polivalente Regione Emilia Romagna where national and international experts will discuss on Ombudsmen's action, citizenship and human rights.

Prof. Marco Mascia, Director of the Human Rights Centre of the University of Padua, will present an opening report on behalf of the Italian Ombudsman Institute. Its aim is to promote studies and events on the Ombudsman role and human rights.
