Silk Route Project: scholarships for Central Asian nationals to study at the University of Padua
Funded by the European Commission through the Erasmus Mundus Action 2 Programme, the SILKROUTE Project provides international mobility (113 scholarships) from Central Asia to Europe for Undergraduate, Master, Doctoral, Post Doctoral and Staff (both academic and administrative) levels, in a wide variety of study fields.
The University of Padua (Italy), coordinator and EU partner University of the Project, offers a number of possibilities for interested candidates. In the field of human rights, in particular, the University of Padua offers the Master’s degree in Human Rights and Multi-level Governance, a 2 year Master of Arts taught in English.
The MA course, which continues the tradition of post-graduate education in human rights that the University of Padua has carried out since 1988, provides students with the knowledge and the competences required to protect and promote human rights in multi-level governance contexts, locally to internationally. The scientific and value-based paradigm adopted is rooted in the principles of the international law of human rights, according to a trans-national and trans-cultural approach.
The deadline for the Silk Route Project first call is Friday January 31st 2014. All information concerning the application procedure is available at the link below.
