Sur International Journal on Human Rights published a new edition on Human Rights Defenders
The 30th issue of Sur - International Journal on Human Rights is aimed at showing the faces and trajectories of human rights defenders and celebrating their achievements without giving up thinking about an urgent agenda to ensure their well-being and protection.
It is an edition with 25 contributions from 15 countries, which embraces themes such as the long struggle of indigenous peoples in defence of their territories, structural racism and high mortality rate among black and peripheral youth, LGBTQI+ rights, as well as creative activism and female protagonism in the human rights movement.
Sur 30 is available online with open access in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
