The Human Rights Centre meets with participants of the project “Un ponte per i diritti umani”, September 11th 2012
On Tuesday, September 11th, the Human Rights Centre of the University of Padua, hosted four delegations, coming from five different European countries (Crest – France, Dobra – Poland, Nidda – Germany, Cromer – England and Medvode – Slovenia). They will be participating in the project, “Un ponte per i diritti umani” (A bridge for human rights), which was financed by the European Union and presented by the Association "I Gemellaggi" of Ponte San Nicolò (Padua), in collaboration with the municipal administration and the department for twinnings of the Municipality of Padua.
The aim of this project is to establish a network, through the involvement of different realities in the promotion of human rights on a local and international level, as far as the exchange of experiences and good practices are concerned.
The meeting took place in the Library of the Centre on Human Rights, in via Martiri della Libertà 2, from 9.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m.
