The Italian House of Representatives continues the examination of the Bill on the establishment the National Human Rights Commission

The first permanent Commission (constitutional affairs, Presidency of the Council of Ministers and home affairs) of the Italian House of Representatives, on the session of August 1st 2012, has concluded the examination of the Bill on the establishment to the National Human Rights Commission (Basic text C. 4534), which started last 27th October 2011.

During the examination carried out by the Commission, a number of amendments to the Bill have been presented and later approved. The amended text of the Bill will be now transmitted to other Commissions of the Senate for consultations.

At the end of the session, different members of the Commission have pointed out the importance to swiflty transfer the Bill for debate before the House of Representatives' Assembly.
