The Italian National Commission for UNESCO establishes an Education-Enterprise Committee
In compliance with UNESCO's role as leader in the implementation of objective 4 on inclusive quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for all as set out in 2030 Agenda on Sustainable Development, the Italian National Commission for UNESCO has decided to set up its own Education-Enterprise Committee.
The new Committee is composed by: Franco Bernabè - President of the Italian National Commission for UNESCO, Patrizio Bianchi, Alberto Felice De Toni, Alfonso Fuggetta, Cristina Grieco, Luigi Nicolais, Corrado Petrocelli, Francesco Profumo and Giovanni Puglisi.
The pursuit of the objective of quality education requires a thorough examination of the current national education system, from high schools to professional ones, from technical institutes to universities, highlighting their strengths and weaknesses in order to make it appropriate to the times and consistent with the needs of the business world and the public sector.
This is the task set by the Committee which intends to present the results of its work at the highest political and decision-making levels in Italy as a contribution to the definition of innovative policies in the sector.
