The New Project “Giovan-Ibrid-Azioni” for Young People in Padua: Spaces, Ideas and People for a Younger Community

progetto “Giovan-Ibrid-Azioni”

Giovan-Ibrid-Azioni is a project for young people aged 16 to 30, funded by the Italian Youth Agency (Agenzia Italiana per la Gioventù) under an agreement with the Department for Youth Policies and the Universal Civil Service (Dipartimento per le Politiche Giovanili e il Servizio Civile Universale). The project takes place at Casa di Quartiere Ibrido a Mortise, Padua.

Through a series of workshops, the initiative aims to promote youth participation and foster a more active and inclusive community by offering young people opportunities to meet, share interests and experiences, and contribute to the life of a shared community space. The project began on 13 October 2026 with its first workshop dedicated to parkour, marking the start of a programme of activities and events that will continue over the following weeks.

The initiative seeks to build and strengthen a youth community in which young people can actively use and care for the space, recognising it as a place for meeting, socialising and participation. The workshops provide opportunities to explore different experiences, challenge themselves and contribute to creating a shared environment where participation can grow through common interests and new activities.

The parkour workshop, in particular, offers participants the opportunity to explore movement and space, experiment with new forms of physical expression, and experience physical activity as a collective practice. Sessions take place every Tuesday and Thursday, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Casa di Quartiere Ibrido, Via Bajardi 5, Padua, under the guidance of instructor Pietro Pagnacco.
