On 8 November, starting at 3:00 p.m., an event dedicated to Siblings — brothers and sisters of persons with disabilities — will take place in Sarmeola (PD), Via della Provvidenza 68.
The meeting, titled “Siblings & Families: Building Possible Futures alongside Disability”, will explore complex yet fundamental topics that affect the lives of persons with disabilities and their loved ones. Among the themes addressed will be psychological support and financial management, discussed also through personal testimonies from various participants.

The event is not exclusively reserved for siblings of persons with disabilities, but is open to all, including public and private figures such as care assistants, educators, and family members who are engaged with these issues and work alongside persons with disabilities.

This initiative is particularly significant, as the needs of siblings of persons with disabilities are often overlooked or neglected1.
