University of Essex - Human Rights Center Summer School on Human Rights: Applications open

The Essex Human Rights Center Online Summer School on Human Rights is scheduled from June 9 to 20, 2025.
The Summer School aims to discuss topics relevant to applied human rights, address research methods in human rights, campaigning, career skills development, institutional management, and expert case studies.
The course plan is designed for postgraduate students, academics, and professionals active in NGOs and organizations who aspire to successfully engage in human rights advocacy and research.
The lecturers are researchers and experts not only from Essex Law School but also from other UK universities and UN institutions, including the Special Advisor to the UN Special Rapporteur on the Situation of Human Rights Defenders and the UN Special Rapporteur on Freedom of Religion or Belief, among others.
The Summer School offers lectures on a wide range of human rights topics, including Race, Colonialism and Human Rights, Human Rights and International Agendas, Litigation, and International Advocacy.
