Padova also responds to the call, with a special event on Friday, May 9 at 6:30 pm on the Liston in front of Palazzo Moroni, during the Europe Day celebration.
The Municipality of Padova, in collaboration with the Human Rights "Antonio Papisca" of the University of Padova, the executive of Registro delle Associazioni Area Pace, Diritti Umani e Cooperazione Internazionale and Uniti per la Pace coordinament, invites citizens to participate in a public event rich in art, music, and words to reflect together on the urgency of peace.
Padova participates in the general mobilization along with the network of Enti Locali Veneti per la Pace, which includes numerous municipalities. Among these, Vicenza, Ponte San Nicolò (PD), Rubano (PD), Montegrotto Terme (PD), Santorso (VI), Zugliano (VI), Dolo (VE), Camponogara (VE), Mira (VE), and Loria (TV) have responded to the call and organised initiatives in their respective territories.
The evening will be hosted by Giuliana Renda and Federica Francescon, in Universal Civil Service at the Human Rights Center.
