Hikma International Relations Summit, 24-27 May 2023, Forlì

HIKMA, with the contribution of Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna, is pleased to present the fourth edition of the HSIR International Relations Summit with a focus on the younger generations and their role in society.
The festival that will be held from 24 to 27 May, both in presence and online, is a four-day conference, workshop and career day that will involve you in an open dialogue on various topics related to international relations; with the possibility of actively interacting with experts from various disciplines related to international relations. This year, our focus is on YOU, the younger generation, and your role in shaping our society.

This year’s edition will focus on three pillars:

-Youth and Politics: This pillar aims to understand what kind of agency younger generations are currently using to shape the world of politics, both from within or as outsiders, and, at the same time, how it is politics that involves young people.

-Youth and Economy: This pillar aims to explore the impact that global crises are and will continue to have on youth opportunities in the labour market, and to look at the positive change of new economic movements.

-Youth and Technology: This pillar aims to explore how technology and digitalization have changed the way young generations perceive and understand our societies and how rapid technological progress has affected the role that young people can play in the international relations.

In addition, by attending 70% of the summit or one of the workshops, you will have the opportunity to receive an official certificate to enrich your CV.

Hikma is a student association created by students, for students, registered in the association of the University of Bologna, with the aim of providing quality content to anyone interested in international politics.
