MOOC Course on Human Rights Based Approach to AI, Global Campus of Human Rights
The Global Campus of Human Rights in Venice offers a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on the effects and implications of artificial intelligence (AI) on human rights. The online course “A Human Rights Based Approach to AI” aims to address how a human rights based approach to AI could help face the challenges and discover prospects for stakeholders on multiple levels, ranging from individuals to communities and society.
The MOOC course consists of 5 modules over a span of 5 weeks, and it includes discussions on topics such as posed threats of AI in decision making and in the dissemination of the phenomenon of fake news, among others.
The lecturers of the course are experts from diverse backgrounds, from the Global Campus, UN institutions, and universities across the world.
The Course is completely free of charge, open for all, and is held online from February 17th, 2025 to March 23rd, 2025. Upon successful completion of the Course, a participation certificate will be issued for all participants. For more information and enrollment, visit the Course website.
