WeWorld Index 2021 on social inclusion of women and children, online conference 9 Nov 2021 at 3:30 pm

On November 9th 2021, WeWorld will have an online conference to present its seventh edition of the WeWorld Index.

The WeWorld Index aims to globally evaluate the social inclusion or exclusion degree of women and children. To do so, it has analysed life conditions in more than 170 world countries around the world. The Index is composed of 34 indicators belonging to 4 main areas: health, education, economy and society, in addition to the environmental and cultural context, which is determinant for the quality of life of these two social categories. To consider the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, 3 new indicators were added to the pre-existing 34. The quantitative data is enriched with interviews with witnesses and experts who illustrate, for their direct knowledge, qualitative aspects that numbers alone would not be able to provide.

On the occasion of COP26, the Focus of the 2021 edition will be dedicated to climate change and to its effects on women’s and children’s living conditions.

The meeting will be held from 3:30 to 5 pm (CET). To join the conference, it is necessary to register following this link.

WeWorld is an independent Italian organisation, working in 25 countries with projects driven to Cooperation and Humanitarian development. The ultimate scope is to grant human rights to the most vulnerable communities, focused on women and children.
