Women Against Violence Network (D.i.Re) has decided, in view of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women on the 25 November, to launch a campaign denouncing government policies that jeopardise women's freedoms and the right to self-determination, entitled “TUTTO NELLA NORMA” (Everything is normal).

The guiding principle of this campaign is that “violence is not just an individual act, but is made possible by political and cultural choices that limit women's freedom”.

“We did not think that in 2025 we would still be defending what we have achieved with so much effort over years of fighting for women's rights,” says Cristina Carellipresident of D.i.Re – Women in Network against Violence. “We activists at anti-violence centres are, unfortunately, in a privileged position” continues Carelli. "Every day, we deal with institutions that still struggle to recognise violence as a structural phenomenon and not as an emergency that can be resolved with security measuresAnti-violence centres know what needs to be done, thanks to over 40 years of experience helping women escape from contexts of violence. This campaign aims to remind everyone of what is really happening, “beyond the platitudes we hear when a femicide occurs” concludes the president.
