The Problem of Kosovo After the Failure of the International Intercession. How the Beginning and the End of a Story Can Coincide

The article tries to investigate the achievement of the independence by the Province of Kosovo-Metohija from Serbia. Actually, the discussion concerns the intervention of the international community (United Nations, European Union, etc.) and its own attempt to find a shared solution. Most of all, the essay analyses the different proposals of intervention suggested by international organisations, mediators and experts until the declaration of independence of the new state.
